Sarah Stickney Murphy is the Interim CEO of Acceleraise, a New Orleans-based consulting firm that helps nonprofits and mission-driven organizations build stronger fundraising, leadership, and operating systems. She has worked on campaigns in excess of $1 billion and personally raised more than $150 million.
She’s also a mother of five, a PhD student in Justice Studies at the University of New Orleans, a runner, and an executive who’s actively learning how to be better supported. Her perspective starts with the leader’s responsibility: sharing context, naming priorities, defining done, and giving support roles enough trust and authority to matter.
