Carissa Burgett is a dynamic and dedicated C-Suite administrative professional with nearly 15 years of experience in executive support and board governance. For almost a decade, she has worked 
closely with boards across the state of Pennsylvania, serving as a board secretary and administrator, where she has honed her expertise in governance, strategic planning, and organizational leadership. 
Before becoming a Chief of Staff, Carissa served as an Assistant to the President and Board Administrator, where she managed a 65-member board of directors, ensuring seamless operations, compliance, and strategic alignment. An active member of the IAAP, she proudly serves as the Chair-Elect for the IAAP Foundation Board of Directors, contributing to the organization and advancement of administrative professionals worldwide.
Her extensive background in board governance and dedication to elevating the standards for the administrative profession have led her to be a global trainer and speaker. She has been featured on multiple podcasts, industry publications, and has been a session and keynote speaker for multiple international organizations including Girl Scouts, The PA Way, the International Association of Administrative Professionals, Beacon-the Institute for Administrative Excellence, and Diligent.
